BallroomHeals is a lively, wellness-focused dance class that helps improve balance, mobility, memory, and emotional well-being. Led by expert Peter Krajewski, you'll dance to delightful Waltz and Foxtrot music. Gentle, patterned movements stimulate the mind and body, with seated and standing options making it fun an accessible for everyone. No partner required.
 
2:30 PM - 5:00 PM    Healthy Living with Chronic Conditions - Healthy Living With Chronic Conditions
This 6-week workshop helps older adults with chronic health conditions-- and their caregivers-- manage pain, stress, and fatigue through weekly 2.5-hour discussion and presentation sessions. Participants will learn how to maintain healthy habits, communicate with healthcare providers, and build confidence.

This low-impact exercise class incorporates seated stretch, standing or seated strength training, along with balance and coordination movements all while grooving to fun, inspiring music! This class is free because of the generosity of the Los Alamitos Foundation. Please bring a caregiver if you need assistance. Registration is required for all participants and their caregiver. *If student misses 3 classes in a row, they will be removed from the class to allow for those on the waitlist.

Come join as we meet new friends, share ideas to foster positive parenting, and all the while sharing some smiles. Children will engage in various activities including movement, literature, music, and crafts that will heighten their development in social, cognitive, fine, and gross motor skills. Parent participation is required. Please do not bring unregistered siblings.$5.00 materials fee.

Come join us as we explore our world of numbers, shapes, and letters. Class will target classification, counting, numbers, letters, colors, shapes, socialization, music, movement, crafts, and prepare children for school readiness. Parent participation is required. Please do not bring unregistered siblings.$5.00 materials fee.

Come join us as we move and build strength and endurance to some fun and groovy music. We will start off with a good morning stretch and get the blood flowing with light low impact movements. Part of the class will be done standing and the other half seated. The health benefits of movement and light weight training is essential and vital during older adulthood. Grab your friends and let's get moving!Spaces are limited. Max. 20 participantsMaterials: Bring water and wear comfortable clothing.
