Come join us as we move and build strength and endurance to some fun and groovy music. We will start off with a good morning stretch and get the blood flowing with light low impact movements. This fun and memorable camp is located at the Los Alamitos Community Center - Building Two (10909 Oak St. Los Alamitos) from June 10 - August 16! Campers can create crafts, attend optional excursions, participate in organized activities, enjoy special events on Fridays, participate in optional specialty classes, and more! Each week will have a FUN theme! Campers must bring their lunch and a refillable water bottle. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided. It is highly recommended guardians review the parent pamphlet under "forms" before the first day of attendance. Physical copies of parent pamphlets will be distributed on the first day of attendance.Day Camp Hours:Monday – Friday:Regular Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.mExtended Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m- Single day & weekly care options available.- No Camp Dates: Wednesday, July 3 & Thursday, July 4Transfer / Refund Policy:Transfer requests must be submitted at least 5 business days (Monday - Thursday) in advance. Participants will also be able to engage in on site activities such as crafts, sports, entertainment, and more. MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach Scholarships are available for eligible Los Alamitos residents.

Register your 5-12 year old for the City of Los Alamitos Summer Day Camp! This fun and memorable camp is located at the Los Alamitos Community Center - Building Two (10909 Oak St. Los Alamitos) from June 10 - August 16! Campers can create crafts, attend optional excursions, participate in organized activities, enjoy special events on Fridays, participate in optional specialty classes, and more! Each week will have a FUN theme! Campers must bring their lunch and a refillable water bottle. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided. It is highly recommended guardians review the parent pamphlet under "forms" before the first day of attendance. Physical copies of parent pamphlets will be distributed on the first day of attendance.Day Camp Hours:Monday – Friday:Regular Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.mExtended Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m- Single day & weekly care options available.- No Camp Dates: Wednesday, July 3 & Thursday, July 4Transfer / Refund Policy:Transfer requests must be submitted at least 5 business days (Monday - Thursday) in advance. Requests will be accepted for review but are not guaranteed. If approved, a fee of ($10 per transfer per child) is applicable. NO REFUNDS. Late Pick-Up Policy:The late fee for a pick-up is $1 per minute after 4:05 p.m. / 6:05 p.m. based on the staff's clock. Payment is required to be made at pick-up.Excursions:Excursions are an additional "add-on" purchase from Day Camp weekly or daily care. Campers must be enrolled in both the excursion and that day of camp to participate in the excursion. Purchasing an excursion t-shirt, day, or week of camp does not enroll the participant to attend an excursion. The option to add on an excursion or excursion t-shirt will be at the end of the check-out process. All participants going on an excursion must purchase an excursion t-shirt for an additional $15. Sibling discounts are only applicable to weekly care.  Discount Opportunity:Register for MyRec rewards and receive a 5% discount on daily or weekly care. Discount does not apply to excursion or excursion t-shirt purchases.
 
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM    United - Teen Mentorship Program - Week 1
Introducing a NEW summer program for youth ages 11-14, United, a City of Los Alamitos Teen Mentorship Program, taking place at the Los Alamitos Community Center from June 10 – August 9, Monday – Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This camp-style program will allow participants to complete local service projects for service hour credit, enjoy local excursions, and enjoy personal and professional wellness workshops. Participants will also be able to engage in on site activities such as crafts, sports, entertainment, and more.
