Japanese Shotokan Karate for youth. Traditional Karate and self-defense will be taught. Training will focus on kihon (basics), and kata(form), kumite(one-step sparring), and goshin jutsu(self-defense). You will also gain discipline, confidence, body awareness, and fitness. The history of Martial Arts and traditions will also be taught. Daniel Gacad is a 6th degree Black Belt (roku-dan) in Japanese Shotokan Karate.
